Woman from Uttarakhand arrested with drugs in Chandigarh

Chandigarh District Crime Cell has arrested a woman with drugs. A case has been registered against the accused woman at Manimajra Police Station under sections of the NDPS Act. The accused woman has been identified as Asha Rani, resident of village Bindu Khera, tehsil Kichha, police station-Rudrapur, district-Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand. Police have recovered 9.96 grams of heroin from the accused.

The Municipal Corporation Chandigarh issued an alert regarding repair and construction work due to which some roads will remain closed on May 17. The Municipal Corporation Chandigarh is going to connect the pipe line work of 800mm i/d M.S. Pipe line from Sector 39, Chandigarh to MES Chandimandir on dividing road sector 50/51 on Vikas Marg, Chandigarh. Due to this work, the roads leading to dividing road Sector 50/51 on Vikas Marg, Chandigarh would be closed on 17.05.2024 from 10.00 am. to 10.00 pm.
