National Times ( Ontario):-International students will need double the amount of money in their bank accounts if they wish to study in Canada from January, the government has announced. 

The country’s immigration minister also warned that visa limits may be imposed if institutions do not provide adequate support to students, as the government attempts to tackle “exploitation” in the international student program.

Police recover over $70,000 worth of stolen bikes

National Times (Ottawa):- The Ottawa Police Service has recovered 56 stolen bikes from the ByWard Market area, valued at approximately $71,050. 

A new bike initiative run by the OPS D Platoon team conducted the recovery efforts between mid-May and mid-October.

 Police said 32 of the 56 stolen bikes, valued at $42,600, were returned to their owners in person.
